Paul Lear is a talented and dynamic colourist, who offers his clients a wealth of expertise and experience. His creativity, attention to detail, and aesthetic vision are combined with an affinity for computers and an innate knowledge of the technology. It is this combination of artistry and technical savvy that allows Paul the ability to satisfy even the most discerning client’s creative vision.

Paul began his career in the lion’s den of film and television production; Hollywood. Fourteen years on he has grown into one of the elite in the Colour Grading industry. As the technology has evolved, so has Paul. From his early days grading with a Pogle on the Rank Turbo 2, through the years with DaVinci on the Ursa Gold & Diamond, Spirit, and Millenium, on to the most current and cutting edge colour grading and digital intermediate technology, the Baselight, Paul quickly became the master of his domain. He has honed his creative instincts into an art form that is unsurpassed, and put Paul at the forefront of Post Production worldwide.

Worldwide is just where his unique abilities have taken have taken him. From recent projects in New Zealand and Russia, and upcoming work in Indonesia and India, Paul has become a world renowned Colourist, and a force to be reckoned with.
